Navas Instruments TGA Models use the following nomenclature:

IDENTIFIER	MEANING
A	Automatic crucible cover placement and removal inside furnace
1000 Series	Affordable models without automatic crucible cover placement/removal
D	Dual furnace TGA, two (2) TGA's controlled by one (1) PC
3000 Series	Models with one (1) additional external balance for increased output
-12	Twelve (12) carousel positions for large ceramic crucibles
-16	Sixteen (16) carousel positions for big ceramic crucibles
-24	Twenty-four (24) metal crucible TGA for increased output
	Standard models use 20 crucibles (19 samples plus one (1) reference crucible)

• TGA-1000 balance with 4 decimal places, 20 crucibles

• TGA-1000-24 balance with 4 decimal places, 24 crucibles

• TGA-1000D dual (2) furnace with 4 decimal place balances, one (1) PC, 40 crucibles
