Conclusions |
Moisture and ash analysis can be performed on the same sample in 4 - 5 hours depending on sample size. Moisture within day standard deviation was consistently around 0.02. Between day moisture standard deviation was artificially high due to moisture loss during the three-week testing period. Within day standard deviation for ash was consistently less than 0.006 for both sample types and sizes. The 4.5g sample allows for ash values to have a standard deviation of approximately 0.005 over time compared to 0.007 for the 3g. |
